WBV Dörnberg – Operations management since 2012

Since 2012 IWR GmbH has continuously supervised the water supply facilities of Wasserbeschaffungsverband (WBV) Dörnberg. Among its facilities are three water wells, a spring with a treatment plant, eight elevated tanks and a 28-km water supply network.

Municipality of Habichtswald – Tendering of the electricity supply

In 2014, IWR GmbH was asked by the municipality of Habichtswald to tender the electricity supply for the municipal consumption points of wastewater treatment plant Ehlen, pumping station Dörnberg and the public swimming pool Habichtswald for 2015 and 2016. We were able to lower the costs for the municipality by 32% per year.

Operations management of the wastewater facilities of Abwasserverband Antrifttal

Since 2007 IWR has handled the technical management of the wastewater plants of Abwasserverband Antrifttal. The facilities are comprised of two wastewater treatment plants for 2,500 persons as well as 17 overflow basins for rainwater and four pumping stations.

Supervision of the wastewater facilities of Abwasserverband Kirtorf

The wastewater treatment plants of Abwasserverband Kirtorf have also been supervised by IWR GmbH since 2007. This includes five wastewater treatment plants that provide for 5,850 inhabitants as well as eleven overflow basins for rainwater and one pumping station. Furthermore, IWR GmbH managed the reconstruction of the wastewater treatment plant Maulbach, converting it from a pond treatment plant to an SBR (BIOCOS process) on behalf of AV Kirtorf.

Supervision of the wastewater facilities of the municipality of Ahnatal

Since October 2012, IWR GmbH has continuously supervised the wastewater facilities of the municipality of Ahnatal. The contract was renewed in 2018. Part of the operations management is the supervision of the wastewater treatment plant in Ahnatal-Heckershausen, which serves 10,000 inhabitants, as well as three overflow basins for rainwater with technical equipment, six storm-water overflows and two pumping stations. The contract was extended until 2018.

Water Protection Representative for Böblingen 2015–2016

IWR GmbH served as Water Protection Representative for Eigenbetrieb Stadtentwässerung Böblingen in 2015 and 2016. This included the examination of the storm-water overflow structures and indirect dischargers in the sewer network and the production of the water protection reports.
