Manhole and sewer rehabilitation Brunnenstraße, Böblingen

Eigenbetrieb Stadtentwässerung Böblingen in early 2016 tasked IWR GmbH with the planning, tendering, and construction supervision for the manhole and sewer rehabilitation on Brunnenstraße, which included the renovation of seven manholes of a depth of up to seven meters as well as the rehabilitation of 400 metres of sewage pipes with an oval-shaped section DN 600 / 900 and 700 / 1050. A specific challenge consisted in the requirement to begin and complete all work within the summer holidays. Moreover, the state of the existing manholes presented some difficulties in the mineral coating stage, which, however, we were able to overcome with ease. The deadline for the rehabilitation was successfully met.
