In June 2012, the overhaul and retrofitting of wastewater treatment plant Vadenrod took place. An overflow threshold was mounted on the flow-dividing structure of the plant. Through this addition, the treatment plant now fulfils all legal requirements. The discharge permit was extended for 15 years.
