In Keppeshausen, a modern membrane bioreactor plant was installed, representing a semi-decentralised solution. Here, the purification of grey water includes nitrification and phosphate precipitation as well as subsequent desinfection so that the purified wastewater can be discharged safely into the Our. In cooperation with Dr. Bruch & Partner, IWR GmbH has been in charge of planning and construction supervision for this project. On the occasion of the successful final inspection of the construction site, on June 11 2015 all parties involved in the construction met for a barbecue and interesting conversations.
