{"id":6503,"date":"2023-05-15T10:13:01","date_gmt":"2023-05-15T08:13:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.iwr-ing.com\/news\/black-water-disposal-ucb\/"},"modified":"2023-12-14T17:05:27","modified_gmt":"2023-12-14T16:05:27","slug":"black-water-disposal-ucb","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.iwr-ing.com\/en\/news\/black-water-disposal-ucb\/","title":{"rendered":"Blackwater disposal at UCB"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/1&#8243;][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;662398&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h4>Blackwater disposal at the Environmental Campus Birkenfeld (UCB)<\/h4>\n<p>The kick-off meeting for the blackwater disposal at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.umwelt-campus.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Birkenfeld Environmental Campus<\/a> (UCB) recently took place as part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.run-projekt.de\/_files\/ugd\/8f17f4_0ced028f1d264ca4b42283aa333686a0.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RUN project<\/a>. Blackwater (&#8220;domestic wastewater containing fecal solids &#8211; excluding graywater&#8221; according to ISO 6107-7:1997) from a student residence is routed to the RUN container where it is processed with shredded biowaste to produce three recyclables, namely bioplastics, bio-fertilizer, and biochar.
