A particular feature of this pipe is its considerable drop height. In the context of the bachelor thesis of Ms Danielle Scharr, an energy recovery system was designed in order to utilise the unexploited energy potential in an efficient and environmentally beneficial way. A dynamic cost comparison calculation provided conclusions in regard to the economic feasibility and profitability of various versions chosen in advance.[/vc_column_text][vc_gallery el_id=”gallery-720321″ medias=”1201″ gutter_size=”1″ screen_lg=”1″ screen_md=”1″ screen_sm=”1″ single_width=”2″ images_size=”one-one” single_shape=”round” single_overlay_opacity=”50″ single_h_align=”center” single_padding=”0″ single_text_reduced=”yes” single_icon=”fa fa-plus2″][/vc_column][vc_column column_width_percent=”100″ gutter_size=”2″ overlay_alpha=”50″ shift_x=”0″ shift_y=”0″ shift_y_down=”0″ z_index=”0″ medium_width=”0″ mobile_width=”0″ width=”1/3″][vc_empty_space empty_h=”1″][vc_custom_heading heading_semantic=”h4″ text_size=”h4″]Bachelor thesis – How can effective documentation manage the quality of a rainwater retention basin with the help of digitalisation?[/vc_custom_heading][vc_column_text]The bachelor thesis of Mr Berend van der Lee details the process of the creation and digitalisation of documentation, using the software upkeepr and applying it to the construction of a new rainwater retention basin in the city of Böblingen, Baden-Württemberg. The digital documentation was devised to support the quality management for the construction of the rainwater retention basin as effectively as possible, to save costs and time and to minimise the risk of mistakes during the implementation. In particular, the reinforcement and concrete work had to be evaluated for its quality. To this end, a document to log this type of work was developed according to the requirements of the German Industrial Standard (DIN). As a result of this thesis, the new paper-based documentation was digitalised with upkeepr.[/vc_column_text][vc_gallery el_id=”gallery-720321″ medias=”1225″ gutter_size=”1″ screen_lg=”1″ screen_md=”1″ screen_sm=”1″ single_width=”2″ images_size=”one-one” single_shape=”round” single_overlay_opacity=”50″ single_h_align=”center” single_padding=”0″ single_text_reduced=”yes” single_icon=”fa fa-plus2″][/vc_column][vc_column column_width_percent=”100″ gutter_size=”2″ overlay_alpha=”50″ shift_x=”0″ shift_y=”0″ shift_y_down=”0″ z_index=”0″ medium_width=”0″ mobile_width=”0″ width=”1/3″][vc_empty_space empty_h=”1″][vc_custom_heading heading_semantic=”h4″ text_size=”h4″]Admittance to DWA work-group ES-3.10. ‘Pneumatic systems’[/vc_custom_heading][vc_column_text]The DWA in July 2017 accepted our appointment to the work-group ES-3.10. ‘Pneumatic systems’ so that IWR GmbH with its numerous credentials in regard to the planning and managing of pneumatic sewer systems will henceforth contribute to the new working paper ‘Pumpsysteme außerhalb von Gebäuden – Teil 3: Unterdrucksysteme’ (Pump systems outside of buildings – Part 3: Pneumatic Systems).
