This includes five wastewater treatment plants that provide for 5,850 inhabitants as well as eleven overflow basins for rainwater and one pumping station. The contract was renewed in 2018. Part of the operations management is the supervision of the wastewater treatment plant in Ahnatal-Heckershausen, which serves 10,000 inhabitants, as well as three overflow basins for rainwater with technical equipment, six storm-water overflows and two pumping stations.
